We tailor investments toward each client’s specific needs, but also understand that investments are just one piece of the puzzle. We go beyond investments to ensure your entire financial picture including social security, Medicare and all the other financial details are following a solid plan that we communicate to you in plain English every step of the way. 


We are intentional about limiting the number of clients we serve. Thoughtful planning not only takes experience but also time. We want to ensure we honor each client by giving them the time and attention they deserve. In 2012, I launched Sherrill Wealth so I could work with my clients on the same side of the table to achieve what is important and beneficial to them. In addition, I chose to intentionally limit the number of clients I serve to give each client the attention they need and deserve. It is a privilege to truly know each one of my clients, hear their unique stories and help them fulfill the lifestyle they want throughout their Golden years.

I am an active father of two grown boys. My wife of 27 years, Dannie, and I are enjoying the next phase of life as “empty nesters” but look forward to visits with our boys every chance we get. My ideal vacation is spending time hiking the mountains of North Carolina. On the weekends you can find me perfecting my tennis swing or hunting down the next best tuna taco. 

I have spent over 25 years helping Individuals and families live off and enhance their wealth throughout retirement.

Brenda Mains

Client Service Manager

In her role as Client Service Manager, Brenda is deeply committed to ensuring that all clients receive the highest standards of service. From scheduling client meetings to handling client service requests, Brenda is the first point of contact. Brenda's attention to detail, thoughtfulness and friendly personality make her an integral member of the Sherrill Wealth Team.

Prior to working at Sherrill Wealth Brenda taught for more than 30 years with the majority of that time spent in international schools around the world. This gave her the opportunity to travel in Europe, Asia and Africa. Her favorite place from her time spent working and traveling overseas was Indonesia. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts in Education and English from Trevecca University.

In her free time, Brenda enjoys the beach, traveling, spending time with her son and daughter-in-law (along with her grand dogs) and cooking. Since moving to Bradenton in 2014, Brenda has enjoyed traveling around Florida and the Caribbean.


Dannie B. Sherrill

Project Manager

As Project Manager Dannie helps coordinate the firm’s business strategy and marketing efforts. Dannie’s prior work experience has been in the not-for-profit world for over 20 years assisting donors with charitable giving and helping nonprofits with asset development for operations, capital needs and endowments. Dannie’s first experience working for a nonprofit was for the 1996 centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. Since then, she has worked for Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School, The Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the Bishop Museum. Dannie currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Manatee Community Foundation in Bradenton. 
 
Dannie is a native of Bradenton and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College (where she met Gardner). Dannie can often be found on the tennis or pickleball court. She enjoys traveling to new countries and experiencing the vibrancy and culture of new cities. Her favorite country to travel to is Greece. You can also find her visiting her two boys every chance she gets.
