We have designed a simple process that helps you (and us) make an educated and informed decision about working together. You will finish this process with knowing exactly where you stand in four key areas of retirement success.
For people who are a great fit for our firm, there is no cost or obligation from chatting with us about working together. You will know exactly how we can help you before you pay us a single penny.
Step 1 - Initial Phone Meeting
A quick 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure our expertise matches your needs.

Step 2 – Discovery Meeting
If we determine on our 15-minute call that your situation matches our expertise, the next step will be to have a longer, more detailed discussion about your financial needs.
You can meet us in person at our Bradenton office or virtually by a web conference.
During this one hour meeting we will get crystal clear on your goals, concerns, and your unique financial situation.
There is no cost for this meeting with us.
Step 3 - Our Analysis
This is where the magic happens
We will apply over 2 decades of experience, thousands of hours of training, studying and mentoring by the professions' top experts, and expertise as a CFP® Professional to answer the following questions:
- Can you afford to retire?
- Are you overpaying your taxes?
- Can your portfolio be improved?
- Can you eliminate, or at least reduce threats to your retirement?
Step 4 - Second Meeting
This is where the proverbial rubber hits the road
During this meeting we will explain, in plain English, exactly what you need to do to pursue your financial goals, including the answers to the four questions we asked during our analysis.
This is where you will see, in dollars and cents, how our firm can improve your finances.
Step 5 - Sleep On It
We have been in business for more than 20 years. We don't rush clients to make a decision about working with us. Prior to deciding if we should work together, we will encourage you to "go home and sleep on it."
We want you to answer the following questions for yourself:
- Do I like/trust/respect the team at Sherrill Wealth Management?
- Will the benefits and value they provide exceed their cost?
- Do I understand and agree with their investment philosophy?
- Did they answer all of my questions clearly and thoroughly?
We will call you the next day to follow up and answer any additional questions you may have.
If we decide it is a good fit, we will prepare our paperwork, and begin the financial planning process!
If you decide we are not a good fit, we will wish you all the best! We are not a hard sell and do not pressure clients!
Step 6 - Get Started Meeting
During this meeting, we will transition into our New Client Process and begin gathering additional information from you that will be necessary for us to begin serving you.
*While we would love to work with you, if you get to any point in the process and decide that it's not a good fit, we will wish you all of the best and continued success. Translation: there will never be a hard sell. That's not the experience I would want for my family and I wouldn't wish that on you either.
